Taras Topolya received the largest number of votes in the Ukrainian voting on the composition of the jury of the national selection. The musician, together with Jamala and Yulia Sanina, will choose the representative of Ukraine at Eurovision 2023.
Taras posted an emotional message on Instagram thanking those who voted for him. It was the first time he posted a picture with his daughter Maria. Selfie was taken in a car, apparently during a recent trip to the US, where he was visiting his family.
“Here is my most precious jury in the world. It’s been in the right place for a long time. Fashionable, strict, and impassive. Thank you, beloved wife, for this princess, ”Taras wrote under the photo.
Topolya also urged Ukrainians to prepare for a mass vote on December 17th. On this day, Ukraine will choose the participant who will represent it at the British competition in May.
For the first time, Ukrainians will be able to vote for their favorite group or performer in the qualifying round for participation in Eurovision 2023 with just a few clicks on the Diya website.
Recall that Taras Topolya from the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the Russian troops into the territory of Ukraine served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for six months, as a physician.
